Mario Roam Sculatti is the the fourth generation of the family to be born and raised in Napa Valley. In 1901 the Sculatti family came from the shores Lago Maggiore, Italy and immigrated directly to St. Helena, California to work in the vineyards. Each of our generations has played their own important role in every layer of the wine industry.
Family line:
Franco Sculatti (b.1886) Arrived in Napa Valley in 1901, Italian muscle, sharecropper and grape grower.
Gaetano Sculatti (b. 1917) Vineyard developer and vineyard ranch manager for Beringer Vineyards.
Ron Sculatti (b. 1948) cellar & winemaking teams at Charles Krug, Chateau Montelena & Robert Mondavi Winery, and investor.
Mario Roam Sculatti (b.1980) Rare wine business entrepreneur and winemaker.
Leonardo Roam Sculatti (b. 2017) Next generation, cello maestro and adventure buckaroo.
